Contest site is here: http://SheToldMe.com/publish It's a social bookmarking site with a 100% adsense revenue sharing program Here's what the contest is about: #1 register a free acount on the site #2 create a blog post or an article anywhere on your sites or on other sites (squidoo, hubpages, xomba, etc.) with your referral link #3 post a reply (by PM only because replying with simple words on this thread is not allowed by DP rules) and mention your username on the site as well as the URL where you posted your referral link #4 send a message to http://SheToldMe.com/contact with your paypal email and receive $1 for entering the contest! #5 you'll find in your user account a referral link to be used to get new members to sign up (for free) under you, promote the site with this link On thursday 1st october 2009, I'll check the list of participants to the contest and count their referrals. $50 will be awarded to the winner, if several participants have the same amount of referrals, the prize will be shared.
I would like to know any requirements for our referrals? Do they need adsense account in order to be counted as valid referral?
No they don't need an adsense account. You can promote the site by mentionning three different things: - 1 : improve search engines ranking by creating dofollow backlinks for free to their web properties - 2 : increase adsense earnings by getting traffic on their scoops, with the adsense revenue sharing program - 3 : increase adsense earnings by getting traffic on their referrals' scoops, with the referrals program So people without adsense account can still find an interest in the first reason, creating free dofollow backlinks
NEW RULE: Only AdSense publishers can enter the contest You need to fill in your AdSense ID when you register on SheToldMe.com as well as your main site, so I can check that you have the same ID, I'll contact you via your site contact form, if there's no visible way of linking you to your site. I have my reasons! I got a lot of meaningless participants, and emails, of people trying to get several times $1, how low is that? So now, people from india and pakistan cannot enter the contest, full stop. Sorry for serious people from those countries, I know they exist, but they're not the ones trying to scam me for $1! Serious people know that the goal of this contest is not the $1, it's maybe for the $50 but it's mostly about recruiting referrals and get your adsense id displayed on all your referrals' pages. But lots of people have made basic minimum (and badly) just to get a mere $1 and that's it. How lame is that? Yes it's lame, but I don't mind, it comes with the offer. What I mind is that several of them also tried to make me pay a second time, a third time (when I missed them) by registering another account and doing the same process. It's low. So no people from india and from pakistan, other countries welcomed!
