Exactly, and by using tactical delay and denial. Don't even think for a moment that he's out for discussion and/or finding solution for problems.

Agreed, yo-yo. My hope is we all move on to another world free from this legacy. Actually, my hope is we all one day escape our half-gift: the genius to fashion the sword, without the genius to put it down.

Could someone help me out here, I don't understand something. Doesn't Afghanistan have any form of police or law enforcement accountable to their Government? Those clips show horrific things that the "police" do to "criminals", doesn't Islam have a "Thou shalt not kill" equivilent?

speak the word and let it speak for itself, totally agree on that. No need to conquer by the sword to make someone else see "the truth"

Agreed. Its called "having a basic level of decency". I believe most people are capable of that.

    Yes, and so?

Nothing "miraculous" about it. I have a month to program an Online Matchmaking System for my degree subject. What is so strange about that?

Well, your conclusions are mistaken and I think you are putting "the cart before the horse", not to mention seeing meanings into things when there are none.

As for your clips, I do not have any time to review them, although I did see one or two short clips of a man beating a woman in burkha and a girl crying. It still does not convince me that it is State-sanctioned and that the Taliban had anything to do with it. I will have more to report either at the end of the week or next week.

I would suggest that you read the book which I recommended earlier..."The Taliban: War and Religion in Afghanistan" was the title, I believe. I have read it and it gives a good account of the Taliban.

Of course, for those who have an axe to grind against the Taliban, they would prefer to pretend that they are illiterate and avoid the work altogether.

Menj is one of those muslim guys that have a complete freedom in the West, and use it to attack others. The question is why any of us will not have the same right in one of the muslim countries....very interesting.

Well I am not in "the West", I am in Malaysia. Why is there this silly assumptions that one is not "free' enough in Muslim countries?

In Malaysia, Menji has complete freedom to attack others for being less Islamist than him.

It appears that this is all the freedom that Menji desires.
