its good news for ossetian friends, such situation is common for west media: first time was: russian was started war because they are bad people, according many usa/uk newspapers + Hollywood's films and nobody listened that georgia started war before. now: maybe we were wrong?
This happened because they were more occupied with their election. And with the questions who is the best president. No one will think about this conflict
