I've supported Bush for quite some time...i haven't liked some of the things he's done...but recently today, after seeing this...and after seeing the new immigration bill...i've quite flustered...

I still don't think he's near as bad as some people say (namely you and AGS ;))...but if he vetoes this bill I might just switch sides...:(

    (I'm in the Air Force...)

Wooooooooooooooters Briant yet another sheeple that is waking up. [IMG]

And before the terrorist Bush leaves office to be replaced by Hilary "The Dog" Clinton expect many many more surprises. ;)

I feel the tide is turning. The mainstream media brainwashing and constant lies from the people in charge of our own lives is starting to wear thin. There are still way way too many sheeple but the tide is certainly turning, although we still have a long long way to go.

Seeing lv2 waking up to the disaster in his thread made my week because I thought he was beyond help like many of the sheeple here.

I'm still a good way off of totally disowning the man...I still think he's done a lot of good things...it's just lately he seems to be losing his mind...

With the greatest of respect to you buddy what good things has he done?

He has practically ruined the Middle East all based on his incompetence and his massive lies.

He actually lost his mind before he became President. It took him less than a year of coming into office to set the disastrous ball rolling and since then it has only gotten worse. And you can be assured that before the miserable failure leaves office many more surprises are in store.

There is nothing worse than a deranged desperate man running out of time. :(

This is a nice little distortion of reality; but not too surprising. Soldiers in combat fields also earn combat pay. The lowest grade they refer to E-1 is for recruits. After training, they move to E-2 pay (4-6 months in service - a pay raise can even happen ahead of time). It's nice of think progress to enable olberman to distort reality.

AGS, he's not Sheeple and you know it. You're trying to get people to follow your asinine views thus instead of empowering them - you're indoctrinating them. Shame on you and Braint for being like Bush.

If you want to be fair then you should do so without emotion and in a clinical way without feeling, and dealing just in facts. Not using weasel words and such to make your arguments. I am allowed to do that, because I admit I am attempting indoctrination for my own goals of World Domination, but you're just propagating hatred for Bush without any real solutions to problems.

At least I have a solution, and it would work.

But there is a solution, and that is to remove these corrupt people from power forever.

The people need to stand up to these fools and say no. Sadly we have been groomed for so long to respect authority (even when that authority is continually proven to be corrupt) so we're pretty much doomed to be controlled by these bastards for life.

    Sad but true.

At the end of the day we are stuck with these tossers mate, good luck with your attempt at indoctrination for your own goals of World Domination. :p

There you go again, misrepresenting what was said.

Let me make it clear to your clearly befuddled minds. I said "Like Bush" not "Had Bush". Had I said that I would have been more accurate, but I digress in doing so.

lets talk about what else they get besides pay:

    1. Free medical care
    2. Free housing
    3. Cheap student loans
    4. They don't pay taxes on anything they buy on base
    5. Cheaper recreation fees (most bases have a golf course or something similar to a YMCA)

Do you want me to keep going? Yes, they don't get a lot of cold hard cash...but the tax benefits more than out weigh that. For the luxury's that most of us have, they get for nothing...the only difference is in the pay stub. You pay out of your pocket, whereas they don't.

    Yes, 2008

Wow, you are actually against the use of stem cells?

I must admit, I watched some of his interviews and such on youtube yesterday, he sounds almost too good to be true.

You don't have to be against stem cells to support that veto. I'm against the use of federal/state dollars to make pharmaceuticals more money. They'd make the money from any discovery; let them front the money for the research.
