Well figuring out policies that didn't work is the best way to correct them in the future. Not to mention I believe it was someone praising Bush that got this topic started.
Well said. And he stepped up to the plate and took responsibility. I suspect, for much of which wasn't his *fault* in the first place. It appears the "but, but, but it was all Bush's fault" crowd could care less about the inactions and failures of those who *actually* made the problem a problem. Nare a peep about school buses, or the red cross, or the media's miserable failure to report the truth, or that the levies that broked were already upgraded by the Corps of Engineers. Nor the help that took place, nor the other states that endured much better because their govenors didn't play games with people's lives.
Discuss.... P.S. I have a dead political forum in my sig just sitting there waiting for convos like these
So did I, anyways didn't george bush give a metal to guy who disbanded the iraqi army? Are any of those the talking points false, could you point out the ones that are fake to me?
So let me ask this, why did you not believe it? If you ask me how many dollars I have in my wallet and I say $27, would you believe me?
kind of like what they tell an alcoholic - first you have to admit you have a problem and the city and state governments of LA don't seem to think they have a problem, so if there is no problem, there is nothing to fix?

Yeah, the perfect dartboard, I'll have to buy some smart darts to go with it. Pity there isn't a picture! Just in case Hillary is browsing the forum, I am just kiddin', didn't want to piss you off (in case she wins...)
