geolocation and pagerank

I have a site with a pagerank of 4, which is hosted in France, but on some queries in French and French engines my site appears.
if I geotag my site on France, it will be even better placed?

yes, it will rank higher for french visitors

 

Bit if you change to France this could drop any rankins in other countries. If your product or service is only offer in France then traffic from abroad isn't much use anyway.

 

My experience is that yes it will be. You can link it to a specific country using your Google webmaster tools account

 

i wouldnt do anything if you are ranking well already....

 

probably, as google will show your list your sites on searches come form french IPs.
