Geographical Targeting in Adwords?

The vast majority of Clickbank products are available in every part of the world with Internet connection. I´m new to PPC and I was wondering if having this in mind, should campaigns through Adwords have a certain geographical target? US and Canada only? + UK? + Europe? Or, they should they be targeted worldwide?

Now, I know some may say depends on the product, but I´m talking in general...for say a health product or a make money online product?

I'd go for all English speaking countries, which mostly works out pretty well.

I stumbled across your question and most of the time I choose not to help people. I am a PPC expert and I usually don't have enough time to play around on forums, but I'll help. Geographical Targeting in Adwords is very important!

YOu have to understand different consumers. For example it has been proven that Americans are really suckers for hyped sale pages while UK consumers are a lot smarter and do not fall for those hyped sales pages. They are more money savvy than Americans who are loose with their money. :D

If I were you I would limit my campaign to America and Canada. Never China, you'll get literally a billions clicks that never convert!

Hope that helps! Feel lucky because I choose to help very few! :)

But if my ad is in English and my keywords are also...why target English speaking countries? I mean, most of Europe is not english speaking, but millions speak english , use the Internet and spend money online also...so they are also potential customers...

However...it may also be true that:

Do you guys know what I mean? English speakers willing to spend are everywhere...but I just don't know if my ROI will increase or decrease by discriminating locations. According to the contributors above, ROI increases by doing so...but more comments are welcome!
