Geo meta tags are geographical identifiers of websites, photographs and videos. They tell search engines where the media actually is. There's a very nice article on searchengineland Should You Geotag Pages For Local SEO? which will give you more details. Some SEO experts would say that Google ignores geo meta tags, while Bing pays more attention to them. What do you guys think?
I was searching and came across this page geotags.com/geo/geotags2.html Before your question i did not know this tag in detail. Thanks friend
This geo tag describes the location of the resource described on the page, for example a resot or restaurant, and not the company hosting the page, the company managing the resource, or the server hosting the page.
<meta name="Geography" content="" /> I had found it from a SEO web site but still not believes on such kind of meta tags and not using any other met a tag excepting "Keyword and Description" meta tags.
