The tool is nice. 43% for zorg-links:) - There are some issues though.

Firstly, the links in wikipedia is wrong. I have 0 links in wiki yet the tool reports 5.

Also the tool is slow. Obviously querying all those servers takes time, but perhaps cache results for 1 week. The tool crashed my firefox browser - so there is a javascript/ajax problem. I had to wait for the server to finish its job before my browser would function again.

Thanks for the great input Mike. We are incorporating caching into Rev. 1.0 to improve performance, especially for the actual Site Rank algo. You are absolutely correct that querying so many providers means a lot of overhead. But I have found in testing that it is quicker than SEOmoz page strength for a "first" query which is not cached.

I will look into wikipedia results today; thanks for that info! We will also add FAQs in the next day or so, explaining the sources and what each factor means.

We have tested in all major browsers and Fox is my own std. browser so I'm surprised to hear it crashed on you as I have not heard this issue before. You didn't pick up malware from some QBC bidding directory now did you? ;-)

    Cheers,
    Steve

I know its strange. I use the latest FF version with a Mac theme, google toolbar, seoquake toolbar, screengrab plugin, alexa plugin and firebug plugin.

Great tool. I just used it, and my site got a Genuine Site Rank of 38%. Don't know if that's any good though.

Thx fellows - we appreciate the feedback and please keep it coming.

Gnet -this tool will hold up under a lot more load than we are tasking it with currently, although traffic is climbing steadily as ppls discover its usefulness for SEO research.

abdulw11 - Thanks for your feedback. 38% Site Rank is not bad at all. Keep up the good work ;-)
