Here is hypothetical scenario: I have a web site for my recruiting and staffing service of medical professionals. I only do job placements in the medical fields. However, my web site has been attracting visitors who search for generic job placement/staffing agencies. Is there a way to take advantage of such traffic? Right now, I bet they take a look of the site and just leave. Thanks in advance for your help!
Maybe you can join some affiliate program(s) who provide job assistance in other fields. Then the 'extra' traffic coming to your site can be directed to this affiliate (job site) and you can earn a few bucks if they register with that affiliate.
Depending on the style and content of your site, perhaps Google AdSense would be an easy way to turn traffic into $. If Google is showing relavent ads, then one would hope they might click through your site. The downfall (of course) is that the ads may 'cheapen' the look and feel of your site.
I would think if you want to expand your services, set up another site on it. You can have similar look and design. On your medical site, include a prominent link to your new site. I learned this huge tip from a top internet marketer: build a couple of related sites targeting the same broad market. That way, you are building leverage. Lim
