Curious...what does everyone focus on to generate traffic to their site? Social media like Facebook or Instagram, or good ole' fashioned SEO? Anything else? Nowadays, I am using a website to get more traffic for my website Link in bio. and it's working. and getting more impressions and clicks for my website. Thanks
@steavemr your ideal traffic source will be different from mine for lots of different reasons but lets start with language - English, Spanish etc demographic targetted - young people, seniors, men, women, people with young children etc purpose of the site - ad clicks, sell dropshipped item, sell manufactured item, sell service, lead generation, information, tutorials, humour repeat visits - do you need traffic that will remember your site or is a single visit ok? geography - are you looking for traffic from Argentina, America, or anywhere?
It depends on the product as well, for example nobody will promote servers on social media, they gonna do SEO and promote it in Google
To grow your business widely through a website you have to need traffic or visitor vastly. You will get those traffic from different social platforms and others.
There are two types of traffic: targeted and non-targeted, so it's up to you to decide which type of traffic you want on your website. There's no doubt that social media will drive traffic to your site, but sometimes that traffic is also non-targeted, so for targeted traffic, I recommend pay per click, also known as AdWords. You will have to pay per click for this traffic, but you will get focused traffic that will help you sell through your website.
The best way is use all possible channels that can be useful and where your audience can find you. Social media is great for that, it's essential nowadays to have business account on different platforms, especially FB and Insta
Social media is not the only way to getting traffic for your site. But it's a good source of referrals traffic.
This depends on many factors. If you want targeted traffic, your best bet would be SEO. SEO can take time, so it would be a good idea to work on social media marketing and maybe running some paid ad campaigns. SEO is a long term game. The earlier you get started, the better.
Start some ad campaigning today. As well as video marketing, social media marketing is good also. Best of luck
Hi, steavemr! Social media marketing is great as it reaches a large audience. But it's important to note that you should know who your target market is. In this way, it'll be easier for you to create contents that will be relatable for them, therefore, will increase customer engagement. You can also try other strategies such as community chat, virtual webinars, live blogs, etc.
I use Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, DigitalPoint, Reddit, word of mouth, image watermarks, organic search engine traffic, and a bunch of other websites that I cannot remember off the top of my head. I think the key is to diversify your traffic sources and have a website that is worth visiting.
Using social media is great in my opinion as it allows you to reach your target market through a modern platform with a ton of users. However, it's important to note that you should know who your target market is. This way, it'll be easier for you to create curated content that would most probably spark customer engagement. Implement other strategies as well like this one that I saw here https://viafoura.com/community-chat/ which is a live community chat that would complement well with virtual events like webinars, live blogs, etc.
There are a bunch of different ways in which you could generate traffic to your site, but it really depends on your own needs and the nature of your site and your offer, since not all traffic sources are equally useful for all industries, you should aim to align it with your audience and the places where they are most active, which means that you would need to do some kind of research before starting with any specific activity. Some sources, besides mentioned SEO and social media, could include some Google ads campaigns, writing on forums, creating and posting different types of linked banners, joining some online groups related to your niche, engaging with the content of others, you name it. The best idea actually would be to test various approaches at once to get to the one that brings you the most quality traffic to your site.
Hi, it takes persistent effort. Unless people know your site exists (the persistent bit) it's like banging your head against a brick wall. Agree with the comments gone before, diversify where your traffic comes from and then make sure to have a site that is user friendly so when traffic, organic or paid lands on it they can navigate easily. Also, make sure there's loads of good content on it. Not only will Google love you (if you are lucky) so too will the people paying you a visit. Also, it's a good idea to tweak and change in regularly, just like in your media posting, it's good to keep the site 'fresh'. All the best.
There are a number of things you can do to generate traffic to your website. One of the most important is to create compelling content that will attract attention and get shared. You can also promote your content through social media, email marketing, and paid advertising. Additionally, you can improve your website's search engine ranking by optimizing your pages for keywords and using backlinks from other high-quality websites. By implementing all of these strategies, you can increase traffic to your site and boost your business growth.
