This topic a quick summary of additional ways to get links:

Register with search directories. The Open Directory Project, and specialty
directories, are not only important in their own right, but often
also provide links that other search engines read.

Use link-building software and services. Try using a link-exchange program
or service to speed up the process.

If you know amy way to generate link say on this forum.
    thanks

The manual approach is very time consuming but arguably the best.

You can try to gain links on much more popular sites, people who read that might in turn link to you and hopefully itll snowball from there.

hmm you can never go wrong with directories..but i disagree with you when you say link building software. When it comes to finding/getting good backlinks no software is going to do it for you. You need to see the places your link will be placed and no software is going to find you good link partners

One great place to start building one way links is the sociallinknetwork(dot)net network.

You build one way links by giving links and then receiving links. You never exchange links with each other.

This is not an automated process, every webmaster is in full control of who you give links to and who you request links from.

I think manual submission is better than link building software. Because in manual submission you can check the directories first and submit your site to most appropriate categories.

Link-building programs and services can be used or misused. You can easily
use these systems to amass a large number of links in a hurry, without regard
to relevance or context. Or you can use them to assist you in a careful campaign
to garner links from sites that really make sense.
One free service is LinkPartners (linkpartners.com), a huge directory
of people who want to exchange links. This service is associated with
a pay service called LinksManager (linksmanager.com), which
automates the process of contacting the site owners and verifying that
the link-exchange partners have actually placed links on their pages. If you
get a request for a link through LinksManager and accept the exchange,
LinksManager does the work for you, adding the links to both your pages
and the link-exchange partner’s pages. It even automatically uploads the
links pages to your Web site.
And another way to get links is use a service or buy links. Some services sell links from high-PageRank
sites. What is your idea about this?
