I am having trouble, I really want to work to make money online and also have 100,000+ visitors a day to my site. I am having a really hard time thinking of niche. Can anyone give me some ideas? I sort of want to make a blog, or a reward site, or even a small paypal bussiness. I have a good amount of money and alot of experience with promotion... Now I need a niche... I want one site that I invest most of my time trying to promote and earn money with. My-ideas Cooking blog Marketing blog Reward Site - connect to blog, facebook, twitter, ETC Paypal Site - connect to blog, facebook, twitter, ETC Funny blog - depending on picture content and advertising income..
Some of the ideas you listed seem interesting -- but how much profit making potential do they have??? Cooking is probably popular, but how do you monetize it? You could run Google ads, but I would venture to say the profit potential is relatively low. I think it would be the same with a "funny blog", you might draw visitors -- but how do you monetize? You'll only make so much with ads. With most blogs (no matter what the niche), this is the only real way to monetize your traffic. My strategy has always been to go after the most profitable niches, build a website around a particular product or service, and drive targeted traffic through SEO, PPC, social media, etc. Although the most profitable niches are always the most competitive, if you're confident with your skills, then you don't need to worry about the competition -- because you know you can do better! In particular, I've been doing extremely well with payday loans (see my sig). Yes... it's competitive... but there's HUGE profit potential! Although there are definitely lots of different strategies and approaches, I always go after these type of niches... and I've done extremely well
Hi, Find a niche that you are mostly good at, have the most knowledge of, and that you enjoy doing. Do you add sales videos to you site? Hope that helped in any way. Good luck.
What is the site about? Seems like if you've got that many visitors a day, then this should be a no brainer. What type of content does your site contain now?
My site, I currently don't have one my sites are being shutdown or put as redirects so I can start a new one.
How are you managing to get 100k visitors without actually having a niche. Surely they must be landing on your site for some reason, use the traffic sources to determine what your visitors want then give them what they are looking for.
Haha I said I want to have 100,000 visitors a day.. I ment for the site I create... (maybe I wasn't clear...)
Choose and 'evergreen' niche ... something that is NOT seasonal and something that will always be around. Maybe ... * Weight Loss * Politics * Dating * Baby stuff Also, look for something that is consumable. That is to say, something that people will need again and again. If you have a lead generation form on your site (which you should), you can email your list with offers in your niche. Hope this helps and good luck. You can use Alexa, Amazon, etc. to do your research.
Ah yes I see what you mean now. Yeah in that case sooner pretty much covered it. There's plenty of things out there, but evergreen niches are the way to go.
The best thing is to find niche and then do SEO properly. This method can help you to see the result.
You already have visitors, so why not do some test to see what niche most of your visitors are interested in? It can be a lot easier to develop a business with some visitors you already have.
Besides doing excelent market research (easy with Google and a free SEO program like "Traffic Travis"), and choosing a market niche where there is money (niches with a lot of active competitors are where there is a lot of money) it helps to choose a niche that you're passionate about. Remember, you'll be spending months adding value to that niche and that's a lot easier if it's something you care about and have some expertise in. Hope this helps... _jim coe
lol i certainly thought you already had 100K - so i wasn't sure what the problems was. Thank God you clarify because i didn't even know where to start kicking your butt
In order to understand a new niche..you need to understand the niche audience first i.e. kinds of problems they have, kind of solutions they are looking for, demographics of the audience etc I suggest you to consider following options to understand the niche 1. Niche related forums 2. Niche related blogs 3. Yahoo Answers 4. Quantcast to understand the demographics of a site's traffic So find some 5 to 10 forums, blogs related to your niche and then understand the audience interests ...what kind of questions they are asking, what topics are most blogged about, Terminology of that niche (Every niche has a specific terminology)..Once you got a good idea about all these things then use Google keyword tool to find the keywords..
Out of that list which one are you most passionate about? Go with that one or are you passionate about a subject? Go with that.. If you decide on one dig a little deeper in your niches don't be so "broad" ie" weight loss (broad) weight loss for men weight loss for women weight loss for teens weight loss for women over 40 (more specific) you get the idea..
