What is the best option for generating traffic? Some people use Twitter, Facebook or other Social Networking Sites to generate traffic. Other PPC and SEO marketing techniques 'seem' effective, but are no doubt expensive. All things - such as cost and conversion rate considered - which is the best traffic generating option?
I've heard there's a web that, when you sign in with your twitter account they automatic follow you, any one knows....
I use twitter, facebook and forum signature blocks. I also use SEO for organic traffic from Google. Twitter gives me the most traffic when I need it. I have about 5 twitter accounts totally about 40,000 followers.
But...let me add...don't think of twitter followers as your opt in list. Just because they are following you doesn't mean you can spam the hell out of them. You have to be really smart about it.
yeah Twitter is getting familiar. Most of the Webmasters are using it.. cos its one way for them to generate traffic to their site. yahoo answers is also a good idea of generating traffic.
Auto followers on twitter? That's a new one... I guess it takes time, there was a thread earlier on by some guy who was making around 90$ a day from twitter, still can't be sure though :/
Sorry, coshirly, but the reality is that twitter, facebook and social networks themselves are overrated. They simply do not work. A bunch of idiots say that these do, which makes it seem that is the way to go, but you will be going down the wrong road. Experiment with them, adn you will see what I mean.
I just recently established a new blog(see in my sig) of course I'm still building-up content. Traffic from twitter are come and go type of traffic so I guest same as the other socio network. Next, step I will take is go building-up my links, directory submission and blog commenting. As, I experimenting for my blog seo for now.
