Generate sortable table from database

    I need a script that can generate a table of data received from a sql database with sortable columns and pages. A search function and category function would also be desired to narrow results. Also I need it to have an easy to use area for the admin to input new data into forms to be entered into the database.

    I initially thought this would be an easy script to find, since I see pages with these functions on many sites (eg. torrent sites that list pages of torrents and are sortable by name/seeds/downloaders/etc.)

    Can anyone please point me in the right direction?

    I know there's gotta be several premade scripts out there that can do this. Apparently I'm not searching for the right words.

    Any help at all would be appreciated.
