General Windows Advice Needed!

    OK so call me totally stupid...I love building websites, but when it comes to PC's and windows Im out of my depth. Im sharing an office on a current project and need to be able to clean my registry and all data on windows of recently opened, viewed, edited files etc ... you know clearing the recent documents list etc.

    Can anyone throw me some good suggestion/free apps that I can use to clean up my traces?

    Thank you for that, I'm struglling to get a free application still that I can trust, rather than these darn 30 day trial $300 pieces of software though.
