General*** Which is the best hosting and why? HOSTGATOR???

I use justhost and I am really satisfied with their service

I never heard of it either, but look at this page:

they have two plans, normal (3.95 a month) and premium (8.95 a month), the only difference is one has 1 domain name and the other 3. And there's a $5 per month difference too. So that makes 5 * 12 = 60$ a year for an additional 2 domain names, 30$ per domain name, what a deal !
And we don't even know if they offer whois privacy service like with dreamhost or if it costs an eye like with hostgator.

OH, and when we want to go away from the plan's detailled features page there's a fake chat popup offering a 20% discount. For nothing, just like that. It looks like it is a real person answering you on the live chat like we can see on quality websites with actual staff working.
But here it's all fake, it's a bot, fake like this host, honestly when I see sites like that I'm glad I'm using dreamhost at least they are funny and not fake.

Hostgator is pretty good. Got some sites hosted with them.

 

I have used justhost and hostgator.
Hastgator is good to load and rarely have a downtime
Justhost is good too, but i would rather suggest hostgator if you are really serious about your web projects
