I agree you should ask if you are getting the rights to the script,
or simply the site for sale that runs on the script.

i create traffic exchanges, and i wouldn't sell the script, but I can make
hundreds of uniques looking sites with completely unique layouts, so they'd
look like 2 unique sites, but still be running on the same script.

kinda like how you can re-design your wordpress blogs, so they look
unique, but they are still running on the wordpress script under the hood.

so you have to make sure you are getting rights to the script, and not
just the one site running the script.
