Very nice effort! I absolutely love the 'commissary' look you were able to obtain with what appears to be a smorgasbord of Americana images. I also like the way the nav column 'grows' when you hover over certain links. Overall, it's easy to navigate and pleasing to the eye. 9.5 out of 10 from me.
