General SEO Plan

Here is a general SEO plan that I've just hatched, tell me what you think.

Users - Helping info generated from GToolbar, GAdsense, and GAnalytics favor you.

    • Long tail search improves the number of pages people access
    • Improve pages where customers land within your site showing that you have more useful content.
    • Easy navigation so people continue surfing to find more information on the subject.
    • References to places people may find more information to a topic on your site
    • Analyzing of problem pages to stop exits from occurring.

    Links
    • Only purchase relevant permanent links, if you purchase at all that is.
    • Create content on other sites which references ours (once we have it)
    • Steady link patterns, either continually purchase links or don’t do it at all.
    • Anchor text is user generated by users and not by webmasters for seo purposes. Pages people link to should stimulate them to give you decent back link text.

    Content
    • Research/News level papers which people will cite as authorities
    • Updated versions of older pages on a regular basis
    • Totally unique content that is not found anywhere else through the use of user generated content and quality research writing.

    Keywords
    • Density of keywords should exist but take place throughout sections on site instead of on single pages, IE: insurers sections should include keywords related to insurers in general and the specific insurer at hand.
    • Titles and headers should be short and succinct with keywords where needed which describe the page’s topic accurately.

    Misc
    • Sites with longer history do better
    • No changes in file structure
    • Old special authority links IE: Dmoz

Useful list, although some pieces of advice are a bit too general for my taste. I'm surprised you didn't mention social bookmarking sites and linkbaiting (article directories and press releases). Otherwise very good work.

My niche doesn't support social bookmarking too well. Link baiting could work however in this case I'm looking at tools and resource content. This is more a cross between what I want to do and what I think sites should do..

I see. Now out of curiosity what is the niche your website activates in? We can probably complete it and make it better.

I'd say OK list of activities although too general and nothing out of the box.
