I am possibly going to be taking on my first project to optimize a website and am a little blind to pricing....I freelance fulltime going graphic and webdesign so charging for SEO is new to me, but something I've been wanting to do on the side for sometime now as I've had my head wrapped around it for years. Looking for any advice from those who've outsourced SEO or do it themeselves...ballpark for lawfirmsoftware. com? They have a decent amount of backlinks, a sitemap, metatags, analytics, ran some adwords, etc...all the basics but I would be helping them with orgranic. thx ~sarah
SEO takes time and it is hard to put a price tag on the service that you will provide. I do know that most professional SEO's charge quite the bit.
eek, i know...not exactly something where you can guarantee results. i ended up charging $200 for a detailed analysis of the website currently and a "plan of action" based on their past and current SEO efforts and goals. with organic traffic being their goal i'll probably concentrate on articles, squidoo pages, social bookmarking, adding a blog, onsite keyword tweaking, etc... i will then charge the rest based on what recommendations they go with and how time consuming it will be on my end to set things up. wish me luck!!
