I'm new to eBusiness and currently looking around to buy an eBusiness. What is the general going rate for a website? Ive been hearing something about 10*revenue.

    Opinions and Discussion?

Yes you can it's 12/24 months revenue you pay for a site.

I would say 24 months is too much. Just about 6 months ago the going rate was 8 x monthly profits. Now it is about 10 for some reason. My advice would be to keep an eye out and don't be in too much of a hurry to buy anything.

depends on the site and potential ..
if its just a couple months old, then it might probably go for 6-8 times but for some real solid old websites, I hav seen the selling price go 25 times as well ..
