GENERAL placement QUESTION!

    On a blog, i have a text unit 300x250, from which of the 2 situations i get more clicks:

    1. The TEXT UNIT is on index(homepage), first 3 posts have a text unit but every post has READ MORE link to hole article.

    2. The TEXT UNIT is only on article page, and to get here you have to click on READ MORE from homepage.

    Obviously the homepage has more visitors, but they aren't distracted from the AD and click READ MORE??

    I want your opinion, exemples.

    I can tell you as a surfer, not a Adsense earner: I would click on 'read more' first. People don't come to click on your ads. They need your article.
