I've never been back to Scotland since being born in Aberdeen, and leaving Peterhead at 6 months old, so I never saw it :( I must go climb some mountains though :D

I'm in Farnborough, Hampshire, the home of the Airshow. Well and truly a Southerner now. I've been lots of travelling recently, just in the UK, and I really want to go back and see the granite city, place of my birth. And Aberdeen FC aren't doing too bad this year either :) So what's it like living in Kirkcaldy, Scotland?

It's not too bad. I'm pretty much all over the place these days. I'm doing my Honours year in Edinburgh so I'm back home at the moment and I was living in Northern Ireland last year because my fiance lives there. I'll be moving back to Northern Ireland after this year but Kirkcaldy is a nice quiet place to live. It also has the longest travelling fair in Europe at Easter time ;)

As for the football team, Raith Rovers aren't exactly the best at the moment but they had their day in 1994 when they beat Celtic in the Coca Cola Cup final :D I'm a Liverpool fan as well though. Are you a fan of an English team? :)

Wow, that's good to hear Weirfire, Honours in what subject, if you don't mind me asking? I had a online thing going with a girl in Belfast once, and a girl in the Republic too... sounds like that line that Charlton Heston does in "Wayne's World 2" LOL :D

I'm actually a West Ham United fan. Comes from having lived in Chelmsford once upon a time with a load of London families around me. Chelmsford's even got a West Ham shop...

I shall be keeping an eye on Raith Rovers now ;)

Honours in Computer Science. This is definitely my last year of study. I'm starting to think I'm actually mad trying to do a course at the same time as run a business. It's all good for learning though.

As for Raith Rovers, I wouldn't watch too closely; 1. Because it's very ugly and 2. They will probably go bankrupt and cease to exist.

Guess where I met my lady friend? lol I never fail to feel a bit uneasy at telling people that I met my woman off the net. I know what people are thinking. They think I'm either a sad case that has been searching for woman online because I don't have the guts to ask a girl to her face or they think I'm some pervert who goes looking for women online.

Good luck in your degree, and I will keep an eye on Raith Rovers anyway.

Don't worry that you met your girl on the 'net, that's cool, I think most people are open-minded enough not to think negatively about that. If there are negative attitudes then that's down to *opinion*, the *fact* is that the relationship works :)

No, I wish I did though. I was going to do Computer Science at Bristol Polytechnic but the single parent situation put a stop to that, meaning that I was just living with my dad, *not* me having kids or anything LOL There's always time to do a degree through the OU - maybe, one day...

Well the longer you leave it the harder it is to learn. It's like the saying goes 'You can't teach an old dog new tricks'. Isn't that right Anthony? ;)

No she is neither. I mean it keeps her happy that there are no attractive women that will come in contact with me.

The rumors about her subsidizationaling have been greatly exaggerated. She was merely negotiating an arms deal with her sisters. She left me here as a spy. She knows everything said in four forums now. Anthony is right.

LOL - "subsidizationaling" - great new term, minstrel. That and "hurricane Kalina" will mean DP is #1 on those terms. You can name constellations after people, do you think we can lobby the National Hurricane Center to get the next "K" hurricane officially named after Kalina?

I assume the Kalashnikovs turned up OK? Been quiet since she 'BoG'ged off...
