I never sold anything here before... So I'm kind of new at this.

For sale or for trade is a general discussion forum with some warez boards, though this can be disabled if you choose against warez. (IPB Invision -- License not included)

http://www.wildtune.com/forum/index.php is PR-1 and nearly 2 years old and has a nice domain name. In fact the name alone has strong value.

The site currently has 6049 registered users, 19,082 posts, and the site gets about 30 - 50 new users per day.

www.Dnscoop.com value this site at $5851. Though I will sell cheaper than this.

Or I'm looking to trade for Music gear (guitars and amps) type forums / websites. That's my niche and that's why I'm selling this message board.

The site isn't making any money (no adsense is listed on the site) and the site needs to be sparked up again. I do not have analytics on this site, but I'm guessing it get's about 400 visits per day.

 

What sort of money are you looking for? The DNScoop valuations tend to be very high in comparison to real-world site value!

I agree, DNS does seem to value high compared to real world, and I'm a realist... However, I wish it was valued that much

Originally planned to trade for music niche... but, again... I'm a realist and know that might be hard to find.

so now I'm stuck with trying to value a site that I have no interest in anymore LOL. --- I guess these are selling for about $1000-1500? I don't keep up on forum's market, but a quick search on google showed that about standard for a site of this size.

it's gone down. Members come and log in, but see that their isn't much activity and leave. Once someone with motivation takes over the site and starts making posts, I'm sure the members will chime in and start producing more posts.

After you post new content and arrange the site to be more optimal, you could send out a mass email inviting them back... but right now it's pointless to send out a newsletter. They'll be coming back to a non-active forum with old content.

I'm just so busy with my other websites, i don't have the time or interest to revive this forum.

I've seen similar sites close on sitepoint for $1000-$1500 range. Tell you what... For a quick sale, I'll do $700 BIN.

I'd still like to help mod the site on my free time.. and make posts to help you out.

What is a minimum first offer you will look at MrSandMan?

 

I wish I could find a way to get it appraised. I know it's not worth $5800 as dnscoop.com said it's valued at. I have found some on sitepoint that closed for around $1000-$1500 ish.

However, I'd sell cheaper to sell it quick.

What BIN now price would sell this site quick? $600? - $700? (half of the going rate on sitepoint)

I'm guessing theres some work necessary on it. Anyways, what is the starting bid? Otherwise I'll bid $20 to start things off.

The main page error is a simple fix. My tech can clean that up for about $20-$25 bones.
