General category database for 4.0

    Does anyone has a general category database up for share? I just installed version 4.0 and if there is a general category database, I would really like to use it for the directory!

    Are there any?

    I would suggest creating your own categories. Using a category dump that is used all over will not make your directory very useful.

    You could use that category dump as given earlier, and then trim it to suit your site. 3400+ categories is really an overkill :)

    Yes that would be better. You can continue to modify it over time.
