C/mon..It's not because a guy wrote a best seller that we need to follow what he said. Did you try what Harry Potter does?...That was a best seller also...

Can't believe you can say such a thing. Gives me the impression that you are quite deluded.

    What "friends" exactly ?
Politics aside, i have my own thoughts about issues such as gay marriage, for example.
And no, gworld, not everyone who supports certain actions towards Iraq or Iran, is bound to think alike on different topics as well.
Thus, i think nate and Grafstein are complete morons.

I think there is no chance for that.
    It's against nature.
If there are women alive then why go for a male.
How can it be like this.
I am really not in favour of that.

Devil, Gworld suffers from a very limited mindset, that cannot conceive of a mind that views the world with as much complexity as is contained in that same world. Kudos to you for your thoughts and efforts, in all you think on.

This is an easy one. Based on facts gays should not have the same rights as heterosexual people. Gays do not contribute to the society as much as heterosexual people do. What is is that unites "gays"? It is called sex, lust and immorality. My point you always have religious people and family people doing things for others: opening hospitals, orphanages, fighting for justice for all. Gays (as an organisation) on the other hand are the most selfish people I have come accross. However, I must say there are some totally cool "gay" people I met and when you get to talk to them one on one they open up and agree their lifestyle is not one to be envied.
And, one thing I was impressed with: while holding up a sign at a gay parade, this dude from the parade grabbed my sign to tear it apart. It wasn't the police who protected my free speech right it was other "gays" who intervened. "Let the dude alone. He's not harming anybody." So there are good gays and bad gays in my opinion.
I just happen to believe there is no such thing as gays, only people with gay inclinations which can be overcome.

I find it amazing how ignorant people are still in 2007, where do you guys live?

what? do you have some sort of links or stats to back that up?

What percentage of welfare people are gay? Has there been a study?

The most expensive and desirable places to live have a lot of gays in them, it hardly seems like they drag on society.

I'm sorry but I hardly think gay people would be happy if they forced themselves to be straight, you often see this in the news recently with people in the republican party, eventually it busts out

This one is funny. I read and re-read your post, with sometimes switching the word 'gays' with 'blacks', another time with the word 'jews' and so on...
You just put yourself in my shame bag...

Your got to be kidding me?? Care to give me some facts on that statement?

You know this is a double sided coin. If gays did open up a orphanage or a hospital. you guys would be all over it saying it used for the pedophile ring or the hospital is where you go if you wanna get aids.

You know I had a step-father who use to belive as you did. though the best way to deal with gay is to beat the crap out of them as a good beating could overcome anything. Trust me I know this first had. many time he decided to lay into me because my 'life' didn't fit his world.

ferret77: I am not too good with computers so i can't quote your comments, but tell me something: a heterosexual couple has kids. This heterosexual couple eventually gets old and retires and goes on a pension. Part of the pension is subsidised by the taxes paid by the old couple kids. This heterosexual couple leaves behind something that will help other generations. The homosexual couple does not.
So name for me that gay organisation that was formed solely with the purpose to help other orphans, or to open hospitals etc. See my ignorant point?

I don't see how the state can offer benefits to married couples, but then not allow gay couples to marry, citing religion... Separation of church and state?

Mainly religious people: fighting, fighting, fighting...the other guys...with the other religion...

Same rights include marriage right. Gays are no less or more than others, just equals...And I'm not gay...We are all equals, whites, blacks, blues, gays, DP members, police officers, poors, riches, males, females, etc...etc...etc...

This is a very feeble attempt. These dudes you mentioned are not gay and they are also family folks. I am not saying only religious people are doing good for others. I am simply asking for the name of a gay association that exists solely for the purpose of helping others who are not gay (orphanage or hospital name will suffice). I am still waiting for this and and once you provide it will also show me how being gay makes a contribution to the society.

We all (myself included) have things in our life that we need to overcome: alcohol, pornography, lying, smoking, overeating etc. However, instead of accepting this as part of who we are we need to fight these.

And selltrib, I don't believe you can beat the "gay" out of somebody. That is so not my belief. I believe I can also do the same thing a gay man does, the difference is I choose not to.

Someone asked for a religious view on this. This is well known: the Bible calls this an abomination and says it clearly no homosexual (along with liars, cowards, thieves) will enter Heaven.

You insist you were born gay. It doesn't matter. The Bible says you must be BORN AGAIN.
