Gay Marriage: Should It Be Allowed?

I searched for this topic but didn't find it. What is your opinion on gay marriage? Should it be allowed, why or why not?

I have a few gay male friends.. fag hag I guess you could call me and it's interesting that even among my gay friends there is debate on this subject.

I think not. I think laws should be made to protect our society and ensure it's future. You need women and men to get together to ensure the continuation of the human species.

 

So laws are gonna stop people from being gay?
It's not like we are facing extinction. Actualy we are, because there are too many people.

 

I don't think it should be allowed, I also think that homosexuality shouldn't be promoted in the way it is at the moment.

I believe that if people want to be homosexuals they should do it in the privacy of thier own homes, it should not be something which is considered normal, because it isn't.

If two peeps want to be together then why deny them that right?

It's not my cup of tea but I voted yes. If peeps want to be gays or lesbians then let them get on with it I say.

It should be as simple as that. There is no reason to deny them that right just because it's "unnatural" - because it is natural. Homosexuality always was, is, and will be not only within humans, but animals aswell.
Society decides for you what is natural and what is not. It is quite sad that many of us find gay marriage and being gay overall is not 'accepted'.

Plus marriage doesn't necessarily encourage having kids does it? There are plenty of married couples that don't have kids..

( side note: gay married couples can have kids in other means )

I'm pleased to be the tie-breaker (7 to 8 now, no's favor) -- it's disgusting and I feel sorry for any kids gay couples may adopt.

 

A heterosexual couple may be disgusting for a homosexual point of view...

A child is supposed to be something made out of love between 2 people.
not something from someone else.

All the gay relationships I've seen, it not really that much of a love, it's more like a lust. thats why gay marriages (if allowed) don't last as long.

Of course this is a major problem in a lot of relationships.

 

Why should you feel sorry for kids that are adopted by gay couples ?
It all depends on the people, the parents who raise the child and educate him - not their sexual preferences.
I'd be more sorry for kids that are abused by their parents physically and sexually, rather being sorry for kids who are adopted by gay people.
