German zookeepers are forcing two male vultures who prefer nesting together to mate with females, sparking outrage from gay rights activists who accuse the zoo of discriminating against birds of a different feather.

The trouble began back in March, when Guido and Detlef, two Griffon vultures, decided to move in together. The lovebirds began crafting a two-man nest out of stray twigs in a communal birdcage at their zoo in the town of Munster, in northwest Germany.

Just because they "groomed" each other does NOT mean they are gay! I do not believe any animal can actually be gay, maybe they just enjoy the company of the same sex. Notice that Harry did in fact later mate with Linda.

lol. No, I don't enjoy being wrong but contrary to your belief, I do enjoy learning something new. In the same article you mentioned, it was written several times that this matter has not been studied thoroughly (due to criticism probably) and we can still learn a lot more about this matter than what we already know. So I concur, there are clearly large numbers in which same-sex behavior has been found in many different species but it doesn't seem to be similar to homosexuality and gayness in humans.

 

How would you differentiate homosexuality in humans from homosexuality in other animals?

Oh lord. Read the article. It goes out of its way to state the study has no relevance to homosexuality in humans. Greg Gutfeld did a funny bit on the article last night, asking if these birds would not actually go on to improve the property value of the wetlands where they dwell, making them a chic cultural destination, thereby making mercury based pollution a good thing. Sure the joke is based on a generalization, but is it really gay bashing? I was also being facetious about a "cure", though you have to admit the science in this case is interesting.

Hard to call legitimately call Rupert Murdoch a failure. I'd say Julian Assange much better fits that description. I'm also hard pressed to see why you assume it is either a) false or b) from the desk of Rupert Murdoch if it appears on Fox.
