Gathering demographics

    Does anyone know of a site that you can use to run a survey that would gather demographics of your visitors?

    Use the just-launched Google Analytics for that - it's got a very powerful stats gathering script which it hosts itself (you just include five lines of code on your pages) for some of the info you're looking for I have no idea how it gathers stats like monitor resolution and stuff, but it does. It'll tell you stuff you're more interested in though, like where they're from, how many are returning visitors, etc.

    What I'm really looking for is a survey that I could point to that would gather sex, age, region, etc.

    I'm looking to gather information for potential advertisers.
