    its a news guys!! Bill gates gave 33 yrs to microsoft... imagine! go u think that Steve Balmer would be able to take MS to greater heights?

    Well its old news and new news. Its just official that he is the non exec atm and thats all. And no you cant compare apples and mirco(oranges). Although both fruits, both are different flavors and textures. Can never compare the two.

    I think Balmer will do an okay job... nothing like Gates but he'll still be there to consult so it'l be fine..

    i like that he helps out charities and that is one good aspect in a human being.. if i had millions i would help out like he does nevertheless billions.. lol

    Has he finished his degree in college yet? I heard rumors that he was going back last year but didn't know if he did or not. If so, he should go back. Give the man something to do during retirement even though a degree isn't of much use to him.
