I would have to say the best way to save yourself from paying the price at fuel pumps is to drive the company vehicle

use water, veggie oil on your car lol. I saw videos on youtube that show you can do it without ruining your car, I'm not sure if its a prank, seems legit, anyway just my thoughts, just youtube and you'll see what i mean.

Hey, I do that all the time. Especially when the gas hand is slowly gravitating toward the E on my dashboard.

 

Another Tip:

This is for all you "agressive" drivers out there, you know who you are. Speeding, hard braking or taking off like a bat out of "hell" - could costs you an extra 12 to 82 cents a gallon.

Take your time, you could save a life - maybe be your own.
