With the global crude oil prices trying to test the top level, we always live under the fear of fuel price hike. We here in India use petrol to run our car rather than gas (which is slowly getting popular; we call it CNG!). It is available at 1.4$ per liter, which at the most can cover 10-15 km depending on the type of car used.
I might as well be driving a hummer or Explorer.... I just discovered a leak in my gas line! (Driving a very old Dodge Grand Caravan - gotta tote those kiddos in something! )
Gas rose 10 cents in one day. Paid 3.19 a gallon and price was the same yesterday. Now today 3.29 a gallon and this is regular gasoline. Pittsburgh PA region.
$1.10/litre Higher Canadian dollar.. higher gas prices.. lower cost for them to buy it from USA.. wow i wonder who is winning is this BS.. Good thing im getting a new car that can actually go more then 300km on a tank :\
Well, when oil companies are making 1000% profit, anyone has reason to be angry. If oil were rare, that'd be one thing, but there's pleny of it. We have a bazillion barrels of it stockpiled. They also should be drilling off Alaska and other places. American oil companies have Bush in their pocket!!
Gas just recently broke $3.50 a gallon in Washington for regular unleaded. What's it looking like throughout the nation for the rest of you guys? Although this seems incredibly steep for us Americans, people in other countries, UK and Australia have been paying $4+ a gallon for a while. If you convert their price per litre in some places it's over $8 a gallon. Very ridiculous. Do you think this constant rise in gas will subside anytime soon or are we doomed to be paying $8 a gallon in a few years?
Prices have been hovering around $3.23 here for close to a week. It was around $3.45 about a week and a half ago.
