With gas prices so high do you slow down or do you go as fast as ever even with your SUV? How do you cope with high gas prices?

Argh, I love going fast but it costs like 10 times as much. It is not so much the speed but if you accelerate and decelerate often you will use the most petrol. If you can keep a constant speed, even if it is high then you are ok. But I definitely have slowed down and tried to conserve gas. The other day I drove 'fast' and used up $50 worth in one day :( And that's a little 2.0L car.....
We really need a gas-free car.

Well, I've not really changed the speed at which I drive. But, I have been making sure that I do everything I can when I'm in town so that I don't have to go out again the next day. If I have to do something on a certain day, I wait and do the shopping etc at the same time. Hope the prices go down soon, but don't think they will!

I don't drive that much, and luckily everything I really need is pretty close to where I live. So my fuel bill isn't that big, but I'll always try to lump together all of the jobs I have to do, rather than do them all separately.

    Abhik,
It's an interesting one too. But I guess we'll have to get to that another time.

You ought to try the price of fuel in the UK. I pay £1.289 per litre for Diesel nowadays.
