today I red someone's post in the forum about gas price. Actually increase of gas price push the world toward poverty. I don't want to copy and past to prevent copy right issue. here is the post http://www.forum.netmarkethub.com/viewtopic.php?f=60&t=204 really we are in the situation to consider about it.
I fail to see how the increase of gas prices in the US will drive the entire world towards poverty more. It's true that US products will cost more, and fewer people will be able to afford them. However, there are other sources for these products, as the US doesn't really provide anything that can't be obtained elsewhere. Other countries have to deal with the increases in cost, but so far it doesn't seem to be affecting the rest of the world as harshly as it does the US.
I should also mention that gas prices here have just recently dropped below $4.00 a gallon, and I can just about afford to drive again Of course that means I haven't been driving much this spring and summer, instead I have been walking and riding my bike everywhere. Great benefits to this are that I'm getting into better shape and saving money at the same time.
Its really expensive. I got lucky last night, I went to Ottawa to visit a friend, and pumped nearly a full tank for $1.16, here the price is around 1.50
Yes it will push the world towards poverty because transportation of all goods and services depend on gasoline or other forms of petroleum distillates. Until we find an alternate and give it to the world in such a way that the oil companies won't have you murdered for it, we will be in darker and darker times. Don't let the slack in todays gas prices fool you, it WILL go up.
