OMG You aren't kidding. In my area, gas went up 15 cents a gallon overnight :-( Not so bad for me because I only trave 14 miles a day on average day to work but my husband travels 76 miles a day to travel to and from work and we have SUV's

Lindsey Williams, a chaplain to the oil industry insiders said on 2/22/11 radio interview (I took notes)

Oil is the world's currency. Muslim Brotherhood is supported by the elite globalists because it explains how they have spread so quickly around the area. They will overtake Arab governments. The plan is we are going to double cross (rip off) the Arabs but first we have to explain. 70 years ago, oil developed the Arab nations. They were still desert roaming nomads.

Between 1977 - 1981, Henry Kissinger made deals with OPEC that domestic oil would not be produced. We would explore the domestic oil options, drill them, and keep it well below full production in exchange for OPEC would do deals with us in dollars. Kissinger introduced the T-bill, which is a domestic Treasury bond.

The dollar will die in late 2012 according to Lindsey Williams' sources who have been 95% right. Williams predicted the Muslim Brotherhood in Oct 2010 saying unrest would spread quickly in the Middle East. Now with the Muslim Brotherhood spreads to other nations with the help of globalist funding, oil production is going to be cut in the region out of security fears. Qaddafi has threatened to burn his domestic oil production in Libya which exports 1.2 million barrels of oil to Italy alone.

Once we dump the worthless dollar and T-bills on the Arabs, all of OPEC will cut us off from purchasing oil. This is the plan to rip them off. 2 trillion barrels of oil was discovered under the Rocky Mountains on August 8th 2005 and proves that Kissinger's agreement not to produce oil with the OPEC and Arabs exist. Look at the oil in Alaska, Montana, North and South Dakota, Texas, etc. Would it explain why Obama put a ban on oil production in the Gulf?

After OPEC cuts us of, according to Lindsey Williams, gas will be $7 - 8 per gallon and $200+ a barrel because the American reserves of oil will be opened up. This will slow down the American economy. There will not be food shortages. Grocery stores will have food but you cannot afford to purchase as much as you used to because of the massive energy costs that will result from oil and electricity becoming more expensive, not to mention diesel fuel which is getting to $4 - 5 gallon on semi trucks that get 4 - 5 miles per gallon.

Not to mention your dwindling pay, jobs that only pay $8 - 10 per hour, rise in food / electricity / rent costs this will destroy our country.

On Lindsey's interview 3 days ago, he predicted oil will go up 40 cents by early next week with his prediction looking very accurate with the woman at the gas station telling me it went up 5 cents and 10 cents the next day.

Gas went up 0.10 cents, up to 1.33 per liter. Luckily I pumped a full tank last week for 1.22/litre. Hope it doesn't stay this way, gas is a killer on six cylinder vehicles.

Essential commodities should be taken off from speculative trade and the worst affected will be the common man who will be invariably unable to bear the hike. It is high time a renewable alternative is found out sooner...

Wow that's stupid, is 'gas' considered as petrol overseas from Australia? Or do you guy's also use gas as just gas.

Just imagine the prices on gas if it would be a conflict in Russia or Venezuela! Chaos on earth and nothing good for the future. But I think that such situation with gas is rather typical and well be dissolved soon.
