I have the same problem as you -- getting around to making phpBB look like the rest of my site. I do not know if it because it is hard to do or we just tend to be overwhelmed by the way the templates are designed. It is an issue I want to properly address with all future web development that I do. Otherwise, the site looks clean enough. It is clearly targetting users of the game. I had never heard of the game. Maybe you could find a way to take that into account in the way your site introduces itself.
I like the game Idea. It is a clean site but it seems a bit drab. You might ad some color to the top buttons. I suppose that puts a bit more emphasis on the game screenshots so it is Good. I'm for the overall site looks dull. But I suppose the grey serves a purpose. Maybe consider doing a colored theme and polling to see what people like better. Other than that it is is a nice layout.
