Gaming Website needs spicing up

My website www.gametryout.com is in need of a little TLC. Im not looking for a complete redesign (dont have the budget) just need to make it a little more.......colourful. The layout can stay pretty much the same but as i said more colourful...

Preferably I would like something like these:

But is probably way over my budget - $70 MAX

If you can do something like that for my budget great but if not just a little TLC will do.

I would also like a new logo if thats possible...

Forgot to mention that I need the design to work for internal pages as well - it has to be compatible with the affiliate links that I have on each game page
