Hello, I am currently opening a new website www.gamersdream.co.uk and I was wondering where I could get images for video games e.g logos, screenshots...etc. I know they are copyrighted so I cannot use them, so would I have to contact microsoft to get a deal or something so I could get news from new games and images...etc? Im not sure. Thanks Henry
If you are starting out just go to the popular sites and grab the pics from them. The game screenshots etc are publicly released by game companies to promote the game. There is no copyright or anything on them. Gaming companies have everything to gain by you promoting them.
You can also check gaming companies' websites for their official press packs / media kits - they are released for the promotional purposes which yours fits into. However you should always check their Terms Of Use / License.
