I need help on marketing my gaming site , it is getting very few visitors at the minute and i want it to grow hopefully as big as miniclip, crazymonkeygames etc. At the minute we are submitting to directories but is there anything else we could be doing to boost the amount of daily visitors?? Well I think you should buy some good links from other gaming sites. Submitting to directories won't cut it, it's too early to get into search engines..
miniclip and crazymonkeys can both attribute part of their success from providing original flash games and making them available to webmasters for use on their sites. It's unrealistic to think you will ever become as big as them by only providing games that you can find at hundreds of other sites. If you can create some original decent branded games (or pay some programmers to do this for you) and give them away to be used on the hundred of arcade sites already out there, your own site will receive a lot of exposure.
well you just got another visitor here lol, well just develop the site, the site is looking pretty good now but the yellow seems to be hurting my eyes, just build up some quality backlinks and traffic will rise, just needs time, good luck with it
Thank you for all of your comments, i have started to gain some link exchanges and have started some banner exchange campaigns, @drig: My budget at the minute is very low however any money that the site makes is going back into the site. @felix: That is what i am going to do as i think it will work very well thank you for the idea.
Social book marking seems to be a great way to advertise arcade sites. And keep updating your content.
