If you are blogging for fun then you can blog about whatever you like, however, I think you should get a logo for the site, and I think you should add some content in the middle of the page where you have that negative space at the top.
I actually enjoy reading some of the blog contents especially the one about Atari 1040 STe And yeah, it reminds me of the game I used to play with my cousin when I was young. Overall, I think the design can be improved by incorporating some colors to it. The white against the dark background is just too dull for my liking.

I'm in the process of designing a logo for it at the moment! but i'm not really that good with photoshop! and Lycos, who doesn't love the Atari 1040STe, an excellent piece of computer history! So many good games, and quite a few terrible ones that have an endearing quality to them!
my eyes jus stuck on the header, there isnt much to surf around. get some content. Looks promising to me, keep it up.
