I'm a bit familiar with Pligg. I think that if you export your database and backup your entire Website, you should be able to successfully restore the database to another host without a problem as long as the host supports php & mysql.

 

Agreed. But the guy said this: "I have just contacted the tech support... All they know is how to setup the database from cpanel. There are actually a few steps afterward, I know, because I have a game site that got messed up.."

Dunno what these steps are. I understand where he's coming from though. If he doesn't understand the process completely then spending $1000 is kind of a big deal.

I just bid something but I realized I have a problem.

I'll move early tomorrow to another town and won't have time to transfer the site etc.

Is there a way that you keep the site on your server until sometime next week when I have the time?

 

Of course, the site can stay on my server for a month for all I care (I do require payment when auction ends though). It barely takes up any recources. So bid away

I decided to push back the end time of the auction because of the extreme slowness of DP yesterday that went on for several hours.

Can you pm me your traffic stats? Also wondering if you have any backlinks. None visible in google and yahoo link: search dont seem to be working at the moment.

I can't see any with "link:" in Google either, for none of my sites actually. Try just searching for "gametaggr", gets 11K results. Before I started the site, I think google returned like 3 results for that term.
