Games.....

    I just shelled out for a new desktop, I was hoping someone could recommend me a couple of decent games to test it out, it's being delivered tomorrow :)

    Anyway, it has the following specs (not all that good)

    CPU 2.8 Ghz (Intel)
    Memory 1GB
    Ok-ish onboard Graphics (eqiv to x8 AGP)

    It's coming with Vista home basic :/ I'm sure that will cause problems. If anyone can recommend a decent cheap (<60GBP) PCI Express graphics card I would appreciate it.

    The only games I own are:

    CounterStrike, Half Life, Team Fortress, Half Life 2 and Deus Ex and thats only because I wanted to check out renting game servers lol

    Go to TigerDirect.com PCI Express Cards for the best deal on the card.

    www.AmericasArmy.com is a good free online fps that should work well on your computer even before the graphics card. For the best new (Xbox 360 equivalent) games like oblivion, I think you'll have to wait for the card.

    I've been playing Stronghold 2 lately...with my little bro...

    if you like to build castles, economies, and run an good economy/fighting style game...it's one of the best there is :D...i enjoy it...

    Yeah, I used to have Morrowind a long time ago. I have seen a bit on Oblivion, I just know it would destroy my workflow though :)
