Okay, please don't take any of this personally, this is all constructive criticism, coming from one user here. You can choose to use my opinion or not but in anyway, don't bash me for helping you. First Impression: (If you wouldn't have told me it was a gaming site) "What in the world is Yawez?" - Somewhat boring logo. Fix: Get a better logo... $10 or $20 can go a long way here at the DP forums, just check out the contest section. Add a slogan or blurb to that new logo of your. So instead of just "Yawez" it could be "Yawez: Your gaming portal" or "Yawez: Online Insanity" Anyway... you get the point. Second Impression: "You want me to click that ad right?" (Remember that this is coming from my mind, the mind of a webmaster, not of a normal user.) The ad is blended in with no border, and you stick with the default colors because you know people are more likely to click them. Fix: If you actually made your ads look pretty, it doesn't mess up your page by giving me that impression And from a user, such as me, doesn't find it distracting at all (thats if the ad blends with the site.) This is because I feel more comfortable at the site like there not trying to trick me into clicking the ad, when it blends in it adds a casual look to the page. Third Impression: "Nice selection of games, but why does Zone Alarm ForceField on my computer tell me this site is unsafe?" I don't know if there was anything on this domain before, but using Zone Alarm ForceField, a $40 anti-virus software tells me that your site is unsafe, and thus, it will not load the games until I ignore the message." Fix: Make your page more inviting... If I had come to that site straight from Google I probably would have left in a second because I trust ForceField. By making your site more appealing (such as not slamming ads in a viewers face) you might be able to persuade people that you have a nice, safe site. Also, I did submit your site to ZoneAlarm ForceField saying that you site IS safe and theres nothing to be afraid of, so they should review that and hopefully lift that warning for future users. If you have any questions about my opinion or anything, please share. Best of luck with the site! Cheers, Ben
