bad, because if you play it too often, sometimes we lose track of time and neglect important activities.
When we play the games we will get relax but if We will play it for a long time we will get disturbed or get time wast. we must play the games when we are free.
It affects the mind too much to focus, therefore I don't play. Nor should those who wish to focus on their goals.
Well i can say it is not bad because games are played for just time pass and what is bad in that to play games? But it is not good to get addicted to them as it may makes you lazy than ever before. Try playing puzzle games and sudoku as it improves your thinking capability.
I can sadly say that most streamlined games nowadays aim towards the crowds which are not veterans in the game's genre. This by itself isn't something bad as you can make a game progress in complexity which would give the needed satisfaction from playing it both to newbie and seasoned players as everybody has something to aim at. However instead of taking their time to make worthwhile gameplay experience, companies tend to go the easy route and simplify what they can, while not adding depth to the mechanics of the game at all. We all know what has happened to a game that was released about 2-3 months ago (no need to name it) and how it affected not only it's franchise, but the company's overall reputation. On the other hand we have games that are made by indie teams and are quite interesting, but sometimes put people off due to their lack of the amount of polish and graphics quality which can be delivered by large corporations with tens to hundreds of dedicated artists. All in all games are good as long as they are fun for you to play. If you are catching yourself raging over the pixels on the screen or having the feeling to bash your monitor with the keyboard, then it is time for you to let go of the game in question. In my opinion a person's health is more valuable than the opportunity to fill in some free hours with such "relaxing" activities as cursing at your computer for being slow or unresponsive to your input.
