GAMES forum: Please Review / Rate / Etc

I recently started a site called Hydratek Gaming, the old design of the site was terrible, and so I have had that fixed.
Not to mention, the new banner which makes it more obvious its a game site.

I removed the portal which was cluttering the site.
Etc.


Please tell me what you think,
What I can do to improve it.
And please, tell me what can be done to help increase the likelyhood of people staying after visiting.

Hell, just tell me your thoughts in any area. haha.

I think its very good. I think you could add forum icons (54x54 pixels) to add a little more style to the page. And the AIM guy on the bottom is cool btu makes me think of AIM... is that good?

 

I enjoyed the site a lot, great color scheme that's soft on the eyes to boot. I agree with the above post. What is that Aim guy doing on there?

 

Sort of a placeholder.
The AIM guy is gone now and has been replaced with a vista 'network' icon. (which suits the Who's Online area)

 

I dont like the banner but would be happy to make one free in exchange for a link.

 

I shall contact my userbase and see what they think.

I've actually edited my forum's header, and i might do what you've done, using a random image instead of an actual static image. *grins deviously*

 

well thats an improvement.. i cant get my random image to work atm.. let me know if you manage it.
