Gamers Videosharing Website (custom design)

Alright,

I'm putting up my Video Sharing website called 'Fragbucket' - The website has been taken offline and put into storage - 33Gig of files, 489 members and just under 289 video's. (it does not pull video's from youtube ect.. it's user generated video's)

The site can accept up to 600mb video files.

The site went live on the 21st of January, unfortunately some personal issues came up and i was unable to extend the server rental and therefore went into storage on Feb the 16th

The script uses FFMPEG & FLVTOOL (i'll send all requirements via pm to those requesting) So you will need a server with these installed. The video conversion process uses a fair amount of CPU aswell - it was previously hosted on a 3.2 CPU dual core intel server with 2GIG of ram id advise something similar.

The site also has racked up around 90,000 video views between jan 21st and Feb 16th

The site made around $30 from adsense (poor adsense placements + the only adverts on the website)

With affiliate programs and gaming related adverts the site could really take off.

What is the cost for hosting? Or could you just let me know the disk space and bandwidth requirements.

 

The diskspace reached 33gig in 3 weeks of which half are the original uploaded video files which can be deleted if wished. So i would not settle for anything under 80gig HDD to be safe.

the base script is called clipshare it does however have a custom uploading method to allow over 100meg files and a custom conversion method using cronjobs something that the script does not offer.

There are a few custom additions to the script.

Thats a great site, would by it in a second if my host had FFMPEG installed. Good luck with the sale.

 

The version is 1.6 with the custom mods mentioned above.
I'm a clipshare freelance designer(the only major one in the community) and the site runs perfectly

Steer clear of Clip share, you get no back up service...

 

I like the idea, the template doesn't seem that custom though (and I worry that I wouldn't be able to afford hosting)

The url now leads to a different website (that design is custom as i just made it) as i recieved no suitable offers for the website i will relaunch in the winter.
