Selling GameLapse.com - "digg" for machinima and gaming videos

    Greetings,

GameLapse.com was created to be a place where people can share and vote for gaming videos. The main focus was machinima (movies made inside video games), but it can easily be expanded to include other gaming videos (like gameplay) if the new owner would so wish.

    What is for sale:

    1. GameLapse.com - an easy to remember, 1.5 years old, PR2 domain name.
    2. Web site installation - Drupal 5. I can work on an upgrade to Drupal 6 with the new owner, possibly at an extra charge, but that can be negotiated.
    3. Complete and unique design - A Drupal 5 theme (can be converted to Drupal 6 if upgrading).
    4. Existing site content including the machinima site overview and a promotional machinima video (which is also posted on youtube and a bunch of other video sites).
    5. I can host the site temporarily where it is (my Virtual Private Server) and provide SFTP access to it, in case you don't have hosting for it immediately.

Basically you could simply take over the existing concept, especially if you're anyhow familiar with Drupal and run with it. Just need to do some marketing and promotion. As it is the site is pretty much fully functional. People can submit entries, "digg" up or down, comment on them whereby they can also provide an extra "five star" rating which is factored in for quality charts etc.

If you already have some gaming related sites this could be a great addition.

    So let's start!

    Hey,

I would be interested in it (well just the domain) however the auction length is wayyy to long - can you please reduce it?

    Josh

    P.S. Whats your reserve?

It seems I can't edit the auction time anymore, but it can be shortened either by a "buy it now" or in case a private deal is reached that outbids others it can be marked as sold.

I'm not keen to reveal the reserve price yet because it might discourage bidding. What would you be willing to pay? You could bid that and we'll see if anyone better comes along. If not it can be marked as sold earlier. I can say that my reserve takes into account more than just a domain name which is what the auction is about after all, though I'd be willing to give just the domain as a last resort.

    Regards
