Selling Game Site - Amazon & Adsense Earnings ~$3500

    I started this site back in early 2008, it has made about $2500 from Google Adsense and Amazon Associates (proof below).

    The site was originally for Guitar Hero 4 but now that the buzz for that has cooled off it's time to move to Guitar Hero 7 [now is about the time before release that I put up the GH4 one].

    It includes the guitarhero-4.com site content [domains if you want them, they are expiring soon though so let me know] and the guitarhero7.com domain name.

    All you have to do is update a bit of the content, change the affiliate links, and add Adsense back in (I removed it a while back when I transitioned my account over to deal with my FB app).

    For a long time the guitarhero-4.com site was in the top 3 for Google searches for "guitar hero 4" and "guitar hero 4 release date" along with other key terms; this drove lots of preorders for the game on Amazon and the site was designed with SEO in mind. By changing the references to Guitar Hero 7 (and tweaking the content) you should rank high for related terms.

    Here's the proof of revenue, no advertising was done, all traffic was organic:

    I guess he wants to get rid of that site after google deindexed it !

    Odd, it was in the top 3 for a long time (until way after the release of the game). But I hadn't checked on it recently.

    It does appear to still be #2 on Bing for Guitar Hero 4 [looks like its dropped to page 2 on yahoo]. The new one would likely be on Google for Guitar Hero 7 once you update the content.

    I did have it in my forum signature on KirupaForum a while back but removed it to promote other sites about a year ago which may have hurt its SERP rankings.
