There is probably one or two Game directories at most........ Try searching first, then ask for recommendations afterwards. Question is are there enough Game websites out there for it to be worth someone building a Game directory. 1. I doubt there are enough game sites 2. Gamers won't go to a game directory, they'll seek out game sites elsewhere. 3. Most are after actual game releases (to buy) and there are good resources already that more than deal with that activity eg: Yahoo Games etc. And for purchases we have Amazon.com, Play.com - so that's been done. Sometimes building directories is a pointless activity, and they get built because people see dollar signs........ Perhaps for Games, you'd be better off building a retail store directory that lists stores that sell video games? It's your call...
1. Click 'Add To Your Site' below the game you wish to add. 2. When asked, click Open. A program should open with the files. If 'Open With...' appears, download WinZip then try again. 3. Click an option such as Extract All Files. It is different in different software, but should include the word extract. 4. Choose a folder inside where you keep your website files to extract the files. Click the OK button. 5. Upload all the files to your website. 6. Either link to the HTML file, or include the code inside the Code.txt file into a page you made in the same folder (or edit the code if not in same folder). 7. You're done! Why not add another game, and if you've got them all, sign up to our newsletter so we can tell you when we have more!
Here's a small list of game directories. You might want to check out the other recreation or entertainment type directories on the site. They might have game categories.
Er, I can tell you that entertainment sites won't list game websites. I used to run one and if entertainment dirs include the categories I think they will have, then they definetely won't list game/console sites. It's the wrong type of resource for gamers and won't be targeted for the console games market.
Here is another site that you might be interested in: http://www.flasharcadedirectory.com/ Had to go back and look for this one.
I have a games category on Abarcy. However I find that a lot of sites in the games category are virtually identical collections of Flash-based games, and I don't add them. There's a lot of duplication in this topic. http://www.abarcy.co.uk/
